The client had a series of shots in which they wanted the practical lights from a video shoot to be enhanced with visual effects.  After the general look was agreed upon, a workflow was set up to allow for automated tracking of the lights, in addition to randomized brightness and color of them. The below image shows what the lights looked like before VFX enhancement.
